Smart Lookahead is a local-first financial projection calculator. The short version: we do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your data — ever.

Your data stays on your device

Everything you enter — household details, incomes, super balances, investments, scenarios and assumptions — is stored only in your browser's (or, in the iOS app, the app's) local storage on your own device. There is no server, no database, no account, and no login. The app makes no network requests at all once loaded.

No tracking or analytics

The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no cookies used for tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. We cannot see what you enter, and neither can anyone else.

Backups are yours

The Export button saves your data as a JSON file to a location you choose; the Import button reads one back. These files never leave your device unless you move them yourself. Deleting the app (or clearing browser site data) removes all stored data permanently.
