NAJ Developments built the SwishPot app as a free app. This service is provided by NAJ Developments and is intended for use as-is.

Data Collection

SwishPot collects minimal data to provide the prediction league experience:

Game Progress: Your weekly balance, betting history, league standings, and season points are stored using Appwrite cloud services.
Account Information: If you choose to create an account, we store your username/display name and authentication credentials securely.
League Data: Information about leagues you create or join, including invite codes and member lists.

Third-Party Services

SwishPot uses the following third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

Appwrite – for secure data storage and user authentication
The Odds API – for retrieving current NBA betting odds (no personal data shared)
BALLDONTLIE API – for retrieving NBA game results and player statistics (no personal data shared)

These services may collect information used to identify you, such as device identifiers or IP addresses. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.

Permissions

Internet Access: Required for syncing league data, retrieving odds, and settling bets based on game results.

No Real Money Gambling

SwishPot is a prediction game using virtual currency only. No real money is wagered through the app. Any prize pools between friends are arranged outside the app and are not facilitated by SwishPot or NAJ Developments.

Data Storage

Your game data is securely stored using Appwrite's cloud infrastructure. You maintain control over your data and can request deletion at any time.
